About us

Not-profitable Association of Chefs from Mediterranean and European Regions (ACMER/SKMER) was founded in 2006, and ever since we have organized numerous events and gastronomy-related projects. Among them were many chefs’ competitions, gastronomy fairs, exhibitions and festival, as well as presentations and educational projects. Association’s members participate in events and projects by similar national and international organizations. We would like to especially emphasize chefs’ competitions, and many medals and awards won by our team.

Our basic goals:

  • promotion and improvement of cooking profession
  • co-operation with other similar national and international associations and organizations, as well as with fairs;
  • organization of competitions, gastronomy exhibitions, festivals and presentations in order to promote cooking artisanship in croatia and abroad;
  • education for chefs, members of hospitality industry, citizens, children and anyone interested in gastronomy, both in croatia and abroad.
